Kamil El-Ahmadieh

Kamil El-Ahmadieh was born on January 19, 1994. He started playing the piano at Třebíč Music School under the leading of Renata Kucharská. He later studied at Brno Conservatory under the guidance of Inna Aslamas and graduated with Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 1, accompanied by The Symphony Orchestra of Brno Conservatory. He continued his studies at The Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, earning his Bachelor’s degree in the piano class of Helena Weiser. Currently, he is completing his Master’s degree at The Sibelius Academy, studying with Hamsa Al-Wadi Juris.
He is a laureate of numerous international piano competitions, including the W.A. Mozart International Piano Competition in Lugano, Odin International Music Competition, International Piano Competition «Interprets of 21st century» in Moscow, „München Klavierpodium der Jugend“ in Munich, Bohuslav Martinů International Piano Competition in Polička and others. He has performed at various music festivals such as the International Piano Duo in Amsterdam, Ohrid Summer in Macedonia and Bachwoche Ansbach. He recorded his debut album featuring pieces by Beethoven, Brahms, and Janáček in 2019.
Kamil is active both as a soloist and a chamber musician. As a member of several ensembles, he became a laureate of competitions such as the Schubert International Competition for Piano Duos in Jeseník, Vlastimil Lejsek International Piano Duo Competition in Brno, International Piano Duo Competition „Four Hands On The Keyboard“ in Karlovy Vary, International Chamber Music Competition in Vidnava.
Martin Quéméneur

Born in 2000, Martin Quéméneur started playing the saxophone when he was 8 and entered Conservatory of Nantes a year later. Between the age of 11 and 19 he studied with Nicolas Herrouët who passed his love for music on to him and helped him to develop his curiosity and to discover the world of chamber music.
He then started a curriculum at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki under the guidance of Joonatan Rautiola, and graduated as a Bachelor in 2023. He is now completing his first year in a Master’s degree. During his studies, he could benefit from the teaching of Ellipsos quartet, Jean-Yves Chevalier, Nicolas Prost, Claude Delangle, Michel Robert, Vincent David or Lars Mlekusch.
Martin is an eclectic musician with many fields of interest. Along with his saxophone studies, he got lessons of arrangement, orchestration, modal composition, pedagogy, conducting, music history and piano. He has also begun a carrier as an arranger with more than a dozen arrangements written for chamber music and saxophone ensemble.
He has been greatly involved in chamber music since his meeting with Nicolas Herrouët through saxophone quartet. He has also played in different ensembles thanks to Gérard Chenuet, as well as duo with piano during lessons with Nathalie Ambert. He has been the baritone player and arranger of Ovum quartet.
